TechImpact CEO Cathy Simpson will headline the next session of the McCain Speaker Series at the University of New Brunswick, taking place on Thursday, November 21, from 12–1 p.m. at the Innovation Hub in the Harriet Irving Library.
Cathy is a driving force in Atlantic Canada’s tech and innovation ecosystem, with decades of leadership experience spanning the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. As CEO of TechImpact, she leads initiatives that strengthen digital transformation, workforce development, and technology adoption across New Brunswick.
During her talk, Cathy will share insights on the latest trends in technology and artificial intelligence (AI) — exploring how innovation is reshaping the province’s workforce and creating new opportunities for businesses, students, and communities.
“Atlantic Canada’s future competitiveness depends on how well we use technology to empower people and drive inclusive growth,” says Simpson. “This conversation is about connecting those ideas to real outcomes — for our workforce, our companies, and our communities.”
The session will include a Q&A, networking opportunity, and complimentary lunch for attendees.
