Qualifying Projects

 Digital Boost 3.0 has two phases: Assessment and Implementation. The Assessment Phase prepares businesses for digital adoption in 3 key areas:  

  • Data Assessment, Strategy, and Roadmap: Harnessing the power of existing data assets, Solution Providers will work with SMEs by evaluating their current data infrastructure, devising strategic approaches for optimization, and charting a roadmap for implementation. This phase lays the groundwork for leveraging data as a strategic asset, driving informed decision-making and enhancing operational efficiency. 
  • Cybersecurity Risk Assessment, Strategy, and Roadmap: Solution Providers will guide the SME through rigorous identification, assessment, and prioritization of information and system risks to outline a roadmap for proactive risk mitigation. By prioritizing cybersecurity measures, SMEs can safeguard their assets, reputation, and customer trust in an increasingly digitized environment.  
  • AI Potential Use Cases Identification and Readiness Assessment: Working from the data assessment, Solution Providers will identify potential AI applications tailored to the unique needs of each business. Next a readiness assessment will be done, equipping the SME with the necessary insights to confidently embark on their AI journey. 

Qualifying businesses can take advantage of one or all of the assessment areas for their customized digital adoption plan. They can receive 75% funding of the total amount of the assessment phase to a maximum of $37,500, for the Solution Provider assessment costs.  

In the Implementation Phase, the focus shifts to executing strategies identified in the Assessment Phase. Businesses can receive funding for up to 75% of costs, to a maximum of $20,390 to implement eligible projects, emphasizing actionable steps aligned with the outcomes of the Assessment Phase. 

 

Next Steps

The first step in the Digital Boost 3.0 process is to complete an application form. This application form will be reviewed by the Digital Boost Review Committee and, if approved, the project goes to the first phase, assessment.
