Digital Boost 3.0 for Solution Providers

New Brunswick is home to many outstanding Information Technology services firms. The Digital Boost 3.0 program intends to match local IT service providers with New Brunswick companies that will benefit from their expertise throughout this program and beyond.

Digital Boost 3.0 Solution Provider Criteria

To be considered as a Solution Provider for this program, your firm must be:

  • Atlantic Canadian based IT services firms or a national firm with a have a presence in the province and engagement of Atlantic based resources on the project.

  • Have demonstrated expertise in data management, cybersecurity or AI. Having expertise in all areas is not required; however, it must be obvious to potential clients what services within scope you do provide.

  • Have proven expertise with two customer references validating successful implementation of similar technology projects, sample client deliverables including plans that have been accomplished must be provided.

  • Must acknowledge the report frameworks that are established by TechImpact for the assessments final reports and utilize while customizing and building any additional information that is standard for your firm.

  • Must designate a single point of contact for project management with TechImpact.

Each application will be reviewed by the Digital Boost Review Committee. Our hope is that many New Brunswick companies will apply and be considered a Digital Boost 3.0 Solution Provider for the program. 

Anyone providing service through the Digital Boost 3.0 program must be formally reviewed and approved as a Digital Boost 3.0 Solution Provider. A list of currently approved service providers is available. If you would like to add your firm to the list of approved Solution Providers, please submit an application here. 

 

Solution Provider Role

If approved, you will:

  • Follow the process: Adhere to the required steps throughout the process including the required Statement of Work framework, processes, documentation requirements, and engagement with the Digital Boost 3.0 Program Manager.

  • Learn the program scope: become familiar with the program and educate and train your team about the program and how they can pass this information on to potential fund recipients.

  • Be a Digital Boost Champion: encourage businesses to apply if they are based in NB. They need to review the criteria and if they believe they meet the criteria, APPLY for the program once the website application form is available.

  • Spread the word: promote the program in your newsletters, email marketing campaigns, social media.

 

Two-Phase Approach

The program has two phases: assessment and implementation. SMEs will work with vetted Atlantic-based solutions providers to in three key areas: 

  • Data Assessment, Strategy, and Roadmap 
  • The Cybersecurity Risk Assessment, Strategy, and Roadmap

  • AI Potential Use Cases Identification and Readiness Assessment 

Assessment Phase

Conduct comprehensive assessments and implementation roadmaps to determine current capabilities and identify opportunities in data management, AI, and cybersecurity. Qualifying businesses can take advantage of one or all of the assessment areas for their customized digital adoption plan. They can receive 75% funding of the total amount of the assessment phase to a maximum of $37,500, for the Solution Provider assessment costs.

Implementation Phase

Support the implementation of strategies and solutions identified during the assessment phase (data, cybersecurity and AI use cases). Businesses can receive funding for up to 75% of costs, to a maximum of $20,390 to implement eligible projects, emphasizing actionable steps aligned with the outcomes of the Assessment Phase (data. AI, cybersecurity only).
