[New Brunswick, May 2, 2024] - Potential, a leader in off-road electric vehicle (EV) technology, has successfully completed a $2 million CAD funding round. This investment, spearheaded by the New Brunswick Innovation Foundation (NBIF), Brightspark Ventures, Build Ventures, and newcomer Farpointe, will bolster Potential's technology development and accelerate their product advancements.
Since its founding in 2018 by CEO Sam Poirier in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Potential has been at the forefront of off-road vehicle technology. The company's innovative Off-Road Operating System (OROS) offers real-time terrain mapping, while their newly launched Terrain Intelligence employs AI to enhance terrain perception capabilities.
Sam Poirier, recognized as a Canada Changemaker, continues to lead Potential towards new heights with a focus on motorcycles, powersports, automotive, defense, and mining sectors. According to NBIF CEO Jeff White, Poirier's leadership is setting benchmarks in EV off-road technology and elevating New Brunswick's status in the tech industry.
