The New Brunswick Innovation Foundation (NBIF) has announced a $200,000 investment in ClinicGlide Technologies Inc., a Fredericton-based digital health startup using agentic AI to automate front-end patient interactions and improve healthcare efficiency.
Founded by Scott MacIntosh, a seasoned entrepreneur and healthcare technology architect, and Dr. Hanif Chatur, an emergency physician and digital health innovator, ClinicGlide is tackling one of healthcare’s biggest challenges - the manual and repetitive nature of patient communication and administration.
Their AI-driven platform streamlines appointment scheduling, automates patient interactions, and reduces administrative workloads, helping healthcare providers focus more on care and less on paperwork. By simplifying operations and enhancing patient experiences, ClinicGlide’s technology aims to empower clinics and hospitals to serve more patients with greater efficiency.
“The ClinicGlide team’s vision for a smarter, more connected healthcare system makes this an exciting investment for NBIF,” said Jeff White, CEO of NBIF. “With Scott’s experience as a founder in digital transformation and Hanif’s recognized sector expertise, they’re building a valuable solution with global potential and strong roots in New Brunswick innovation.”
NBIF’s investment will help accelerate ClinicGlide’s ongoing AI development, integration with healthcare systems, and overall company growth — reinforcing New Brunswick’s position as a growing hub for digital health innovation.
