The UNB Coding Boot Camp
In partnership with McKenna Institute and the University of New Brunswick, TechImpact is launching the first in a series of skilling boot camps. These boot camps directly address our province's tech industry labour shortage and will provide students with a direct path to get hired in the New Brunswick tech workforce.
The UNB Coding Boot Camp is a 24-week, part-time program, with the next boot camp starting on July 17th, 2023. The tuition cost is $10,955 per student, with multiple tuition support application opportunities available.
The UNB Coding Boot Camp curriculum will feature the following skills:
-
Browser-based technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery)
-
Databases (MySQL, MongoDB)
-
Server-side development (Express.js, React.js and Node.js)
-
Quality assurance and deployment (unit testing, linting, continuous integration)
TechImpact is also looking for employers who will consider meeting with approved students for the program and who would consider providing a job offer to one of these candidates. TechImpact will facilitate meetings with the approved students so employers can determine if they want to proceed and present a job offer.
Graduates of this Boot Camp will be best suited for the following positions:
-
Full Stack Developer
-
Back End Web Developer
-
Software Developer
-
