The 2023 Hurun Canada Under 30s includes founders from 3 New Brunswick-based startups.
The Hurun Research Institute today released its second Hurun Canada Under30s list, in association with the Canada Business Youth Club and featuring Canada’s most successful and exciting entrepreneurs aged 30 or under, 7 of which hail from New Brunswick.
“Canada remains one of the world’s best places to start a business,” said Rupert Hoogewerf, chairman and chief researcher of the Shanghai-headquartered Hurun.
“Despite the global downturn in venture capital funding of the last year or, it continues to be the launching pad for many new and exciting ventures,” Hoogewerf said.
Among those companies are three New Brunswick-based startups:
·Sam Poirier and Nicholas Dowling, the visionary minds behind Potential Motors, are spearheading groundbreaking advancements in electric vehicle control systems, with a specific focus on off-road capabilities.
· Curtis Kennedy, the creative force behind Symbodi, has been passionately working towards creating innovative products and software to address back pain treatment and prevention. Recently, they unveiled their groundbreaking invention - the world's first wall-mounted massage gun. This revolutionary device is set to redefine the way individuals experience relief and relaxation for their back-related issues.
· Xavier Hébert-Couturier, Dominic Levesque, Maxime Dumont, and Zachary Andersen form the exceptional group driving Picketa Systems, an ag-tech startup that is transforming the way farmers enhance fertilizer efficiency.
