Tapping into the Best of Tech in Atlantic Canada: The Atlantic Technology Summit is back on November 16th

Atlantic Tech Summit -9172

The region’s fastest-growing technology conference is back, live and in-person, on November 16th. Founded in 2019 and returning for its 4th year, the Summit will provide an action-packed day of sessions from top local and national tech leaders as they discuss Digital Acceleration and the experience of managing through the challenges of fast-paced change.

As the only independent tech conference in the region the Summit sets itself apart by being an event that grew organically from community-led meetup groups and serves all aspects of our region’s tech community from traditional IT, to Start-ups, DevOps, private, and public businesses. The vision for the conference has always been to bring the community together, highlight cutting edge innovation and share the many success stories in tech within the region.

The Atlantic Technology Summit is the number one place for business owners, tech leaders, and tech workers to learn about the trends and challenges facing them today. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage and network with leaders on the issues and topics that are impacting the tech community the most right now—namely, managing change in a fast-paced world.

With the rate of change increasing so dramatically, making effective decisions in this environment can be a challenge. This year’s summit is exploring the impacts this has on hiring and talent retention, cyber security, managing digital transformation, data management, quantum computing, and the evolution of the workplace.

I’m super excited to be back in person AND to have our best speaker line up ever, with some truly top-class representation from across Atlantic Canada and the country’s top technology companies,” says Calvino Anderson, founder of the Atlantic Technology Summit. “Our conference provides a huge opportunity to network with others in the tech community and learn from some of its brightest minds.”

This year’s event will have a unique hybrid format with virtual and in-person tickets available. With either ticket all attendees can network with each other via the app and keep up with content as well as stay connected after the event.

Special highlights to look forward to include:

  • A fireside chat with CBC’s Dragons’ Den star and Tech Entrepreneur Michelle Romanow
  • A keynote by RBC’s Chief Data Officer on Leading a successful digital transformation by creating an effective data management strategy in your company.
