Are you an employer or business leader looking for extra help this Winter? You could
receive a wage subsidy of up to $7,000 to hire post-secondary students from January to
March 2026.
The Information & Communications Technology Council's (ICTC) WIL Digital program helps
employers grow their businesses by providing financial support to hire post-secondary
students. In addition to the wage subsidy, employers gain new perspectives to help tackle
challenges within their business, identify potential long-term hires, and support the early
career development of the next generation of Canadian leaders.
Employers can receive 50% of a student’s wages up to $5,000, or 70% up to $7,000
when hiring underrepresented students. WIL Digital supports both full-time and part-time
positions – apply early as funding is limited. Learn more and apply for the January to March
2026 period here: Hire Students in Canada | Wage Subsidies for Internships
