What is a FabLab?

A FabLab, or digital fabrication laboratory, is a place to play, create, mentor, invent, and a place for learning and innovation. FabLabs provide access to the environment, skills, materials, and technologies to allow anyone to make almost anything.

At the Fredericton FabLab, they offer a unique opportunity for Indigenous Youth to learn and explore their creativity by bringing together culture and digital fabrication technologies.

Requirements:

The program is for Indigenous Youth aged 15 – 30 years old who are not employed or in school. The program is offered in English and in French.

Offerings:

• 6 hours per day (13.75$ per hour)
• 5 days per week

Starting Date: January 4, 2023, to May 19, 2023

Location: Brookside Mall, 435 Brookside Dr., Unit 36, Fredericton, NB, E3A8V4
