Entrevester Launches Atlantic Canada Startup Survey 2025: Founders Urged to Participate

Entrevester has launched its annual Atlantic Canada Startup Survey, a quick 10-question questionnaire that forms the foundation of the upcoming 2025 Atlantic Canada Startup Data Report. This report is widely used by government, funders, and innovation support organizations to understand the state of the region’s startup ecosystem - and your participation helps ensure the data reflects what’s really happening on the ground.

The survey is fully confidential, takes about three minutes, and is open to founders who meet Entrevester’s three criteria:

• The company is Atlantic Canadian–owned

• It is commercializing innovation

• It is building a product for a global market

Why Your Participation Matters

1. Stronger programs and policy decisions
Accurate, up-to-date data helps inform the programs, funding models, and government decisions that directly impact startups in our region. When founders participate, the resulting report becomes a more reliable benchmark for Atlantic Canada’s innovation economy.

Entrevester publishes free, independent news and analysis for our startup community. The annual data report is a key part of that work - and your responses help keep that reporting meaningful and relevant.

Entrevester emphasizes that all responses are aggregated, never tied to specific individuals or companies, and that no identifying information is shared publicly. Last year, over 350 people downloaded the final report, underscoring how widely it’s used across the ecosystem.
