Fresh off the heels of the InnovateNB Celebration, we are excited to share the launch of our second Women Belong Here. event

Women Belong Here. is a series of facilitated workshops that was launched at the InnovateNB Celebration in November 2022. The focus of these events is to educate and raise awareness on diversity, equity, belonging, and inclusion in our schools, post-secondary institutions, and workplaces.  

The title of our second workshop is Unconscious Bias – What’s Your Blindspot? This will be virtually facilitated by MESH / Diversity in partnership with TechImpact on February 15th. 

MESH / Diversity will facilitate a powerful interactive exercise that will allow you to explore unconscious biases in greater depth. Using a science-based lens the team will deepen your understanding of how unconscious biases can: 

• Impact and often warp perceptions 
• Drive reactive behaviour 
• Damage team culture and morale 
• Influence burnout and churn 
• Be better recognized, managed, and mitigated
