To help individuals advance their careers, Career Foundation, in partnership with Lighthouse Labs, is offering transformative essential skills training courses on Developing your interpersonal skills and learning how to communicate clearly and concisely with essential skills training on communication and public speaking.
This training is available at no cost to eligible applicants thanks to the ICT Boost initiative - a program funded in part by the Government of Canada’s Sectoral Workforce Solutions Program (SWSP).
Eligible participants must be:
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Currently residing in Canada
- A Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or a person who has been granted refugee status in Canada
- Legally entitled to work in Canada (According to the relevant provincial and federal legislation and regulations)
Time Management: This course delves into strategic management techniques for productivity, projects, and people. Areas of focus include inclusive leadership styles at all levels in the new world of work, providing feedback, leading change, people, and projects virtually. In this course, attendees will receive action-oriented insights and exposure to best practices.
Expected Learning Outcomes: By the end of this course, participants will:
- Develop proven habits to sustain the energy needed to be productive-
- Understand how to optimize productivity and improve relationships
- Break projects down and structure their workflow to optimize output
- Explore diversity, equity, and inclusion to foster a harmonious and highly productive, and collaborative work environment
Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a certificate.
